President Mehmet Ali TALAT participated to the conference on the "Latest Developments in the Cyprus Negotiations" organized by Cyprus Policy Center.

At the beginning of the conference, which took place in Blue Hall in Eastern Mediterranean University, Director of Cyprus Policy Center, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Sözen made a brief speech to the audience about the ongoing negotiation process in Cyprus. Later on, President Mehmet Ali TALAT, in the first part of his speech which was open for the press, gave general information about the ongoing negotiations. Because of the agreement between the leaders of the two communuties, the second part of the conference was closed for the press. In this part of his speech, President Mehmet Ali TALAT gave detailed information about the arguments between the two sides during negotiations.
